School of Ranch free workshops cover a wide variety of topics, and usually take place on the property of the person running the workshop. Some of these workshops are led in conjunction with partners, focus on soil repair, fire prevention, or water use. Others focus on things people have done on their properties that they would like to share - from barn construction to gardening in dry climates. Free workshops are a way you can you teach the next generation of ranchers and farmers, meet new friends, and give back to the community.
Free workshops are as much inspirational as they are instructional. We can't teach you passion, but instruction is a skill that you can learn, and we will help teach you. Sharing our passions, your ideas, and your handiwork is among the most rewarding of activities. You will make new friends and help the next generation of landowners become members of your community.
While School of Ranch is based in Oregon, we can work with you to run workshops anywhere in the country. We are also looking for people who want to take a large role in their local area. Let us know if you are interested.
