HOST SCHOOL OF RANCH

outdoor workshop

We Rely On Your Sense of Community. And Your Shop.

We host workshops all over Central Oregon, outside and in, at places that support our mission.

TYPES OF HOSTING

Outdoors

Classroom

outdoor workshp

Outdoor workshops are attended by between 20 and 40 people. People bring their own seating.  These workshops usually don't require AV and have low power needs.  We often hold a potluck meal at outdoor events.

Classroom

Classroom workshops are attended by 10 to 25 people.  They typically just require tables and chairs.  We sometimes run slideshows.  Power demands are low.  These workshops usually have a potluck, but do not require a kitchen.

Shop

Shop

Hands-on workshops have 6 and 10 participants.  Participants work with tools, from hand tools to chainsaws.  There is some mess, mostly sawdust and the occasional spill.  We always clean up.  Power supply needs tend to be higher at hands-on workshops.

Make Space for Community

Our workshops help people discover common ground regardless of politics, age, background or beliefs.  If you believe that's important, help us by hosting us.

We're very responsible, as is our community.  We are a 501c3 with liability insurance. Our business model depends on not paying rent, though, so there's that.  If you would consider hosting us once a while, it would be huge.

Thanks.
