Learning to weld with School of Ranch is fun, safe and a skill that you will use over and over. You'll never look at a piece metal the same way again. We offer a family program too!

Kaleb Watson, a veteran and experienced welder, leads these workshops. With a maximum enrollment of only seven per session, he will work with you at your own pace. His goal is to help you solve problems with welding, not just learn how to weld.
We take safety seriously. You will be required to wear proper clothing, helmets, and ear protection. You will be taught safe procedures and materials handling. We will not tolerate unsafe behavior. You need to bring your own helmet and gloves or we'll rent them to you.
You can try one workshop first then decide if the series is right for you. The course is three workshops total. You don't need to buy equipment, we'll rent you a helmet and gloves, just show up dressed to weld and give it a try. You always wanted to try welding. Here's your chance!
Adults 18+ who are new to welding. Sessions tend to split evenly between women and men.
At the end of the three-workshop series, you will be able to repair tools, patch sheet metal and fix various implements. You will be comfortable using a MIG welder, will know what to buy for a home setup, and how to be safe. You can use new skills on your own projects and even artwork.
They will be held in Redmond out just past Eagle Crest. We'll provide the address when you register.
These three-hour workshops are held Tuesdays at 5:30pm and Saturdays at 10am. You pick your schedule from available dates through the end of February.
School of Ranch, a Terrebonne-based nonprofit, is putting on this workshop series. School of Ranch runs live workshops for new property owners led by experienced locals.
No, you can pay for and attend the first workshop in the series and then decide if you want to take the other two. Great way to give welding a try!
Each workshop is $100. The intro course is three workshops. You can pay for and attend the first session and then decide if you want to pay for and take the next two. You will need to supply your own helmet and welding gloves. If you want to try one workshop and can't come up with your own helmet and gloves, you can rent them for $10 each.
Yes you can! There's a checkbox above credit card fields that allows you to add a gift recipient.
We supply welders and you can rent gloves and a helmet from us, or you can bring you own. You much bring your own safety glass and we suggest you bring earplugs. You must wear appropriate clothing - no synthetic, heavy shirt and pants (jeans are ok), and leather shoes.
We have a family program for teenagers. The only difference is that teens need to be accompanied by an adult, preferably a family member. The cost is the same. We need to have six people sign up for the family program to set the dates. We will work with you to find dates that work for everyone.
