Get hands-on experience with a router, planer, sander, chop saw, table saw, band saw, and more, including a lesson on creating your own pocket screws jig. Enhance your understanding of the tools’ functions, proper usage, and safety protocols, while also exploring various wood types to best suit your project needs.
This session focuses on framing techniques and joining angles, crucial for robust structure building. You will undertake a hands-on project to construct a code-compliant wall. You will learn the art of attaching drywall, perfecting corner joints, and the intricate craft of external doweling for smaller projects. The session also covers the practical skills of jig building, setting you up for comprehensive carpentry expertise.
This session covers staining, trimming, and sophisticated techniques like doweling for finish projects and creating hidden joints.
