Take a beginner dive into wood carving. In this three-hour hands-on workshop, you'll learn to carve a spoon using just a single chisel. We walk you through the carving process step by step, and send you home with your own carving kit — perfect for continuing your carving adventures.
When: We’ll schedule this workshop again when we get at least 5 pre-registrants.
Where: Bend/Redmond
Price: $125 (+ $35 supply fee)
Pre-registration is free; we only charge your credit card when we're ready to schedule (and you say ok). When 5 people pre-register, we'll set up the next workshop with your input on dates!
You'll gain confidence in handling a wood carving chisel and learn how to shape your spoon efficiently and safely — so you can spend more time creating and less time worrying about nicks and slips.
We’ll show you simple carving techniques to refine your spoon’s shape and achieve smooth, functional curves. Expect plenty of encouragement and guidance as you go.
Your personal carving kit is yours to keep, so you can continue practicing at home. We’ll help you understand each tool and material in the kit, so you know exactly what you’re working with — no guesswork required.
