After this workshop, you'll understand the basics of residential 120v in the field. You'll learn how to test a hotwire, how to start looking for answers in your electrical problems, and how to know when you really do need to bring in an electrician. And you'll be able to do all the things we teach you safely.
Save money and know what to do in emergencies. We will cover electrical breaker boxes, loose wires, splicing new wires in, and many aspects that might be plaguing your system. This is an all hands on class and out of the classroom. Get your hands dirty and fix things on the fly while learning to deal with real world problems.
Oregon has some of the highest standards for our state's infrastructure in the country and most of the world. It's tricky to know what laws are in play. This class will help you navigate the key features that you need to know.
The first thing you notice about James is the rocks, which he quickly will point out are not just rocks, but gemstones that he and his partner found. He's a highly trained handyman and mechanic who enjoys nothing more than sharing what he knows and building skills in others. A native of Culver, he enlisted in the Marines, where was trained in automotive, jet turbine and solid fuel rocket mechanics, earning many certifications along the way. He returned to Central Oregon looking to give back to his community, share his skills and hobbies, which beyond gemstones include astronomy, another course area he's teaching.
