Ashleigh Chamberlain has been working at landscaping and irrigation in Central Oregon for nearly a decade. She is an Irrigation Technician Supervisor at Mountain Sky Landscaping. Ashleigh is drawn to the problem solving and design aspects of irrigation systems. She has first-hand understanding of the complexities and realities of Central Oregon's climate, soil, and water issues. When she's not moving liquid water, or plowing frozen water, she's pulling fish out of the water...because Ashley loves to fish!

This will be in central Redmond at one of two locations. We'll keep you posted.
Please bring latex gloves, safety glasses, and a mask as you will be working with chemicals for part of the workshop. Otherwise wear whatever you would to work outside. We'll be indoors for most of the class but may move outdoors to work with the chemicals.
As we will be working with chemical glues and other tools, we'd prefer if this class was attended by adults. However, so long as you attend, you can buy a ticket for an accompanying minor.
School of Ranch is a Central Oregon based 501c3 nonprofit. We hire experienced community members to teach practical and artisan skills, live and in person. We create paying gigs for tradespeople and artisans. And we create common ground for people regardless of politics, beliefs, age or background. After all, if a the gate is broken, we can all agree pretty much that you need to know how to fix it. In a world where our media and political leadership seek to divide us for their own gain, we, the people, must stand united. We have much more in common than they want us to believe.
