WORKSHOP LEADER

Christy Tice

Christy is the founder of Handymandy:Major Help for Minor Jobs, a business born from her love of fixing, troubleshooting, and building. Her passion for hands-on work especially with wood was sparked early in life while helping her dad repair and restore instruments in his stringed instrument shop. That experience gave her a deep appreciation for tools, craftsmanship, and creative problem-solving, aka “MacGyvery,” as she likes to call it. Christy also shares her skills at DIY Cave, a local makerspace, and is a fixer at Repair Cafes. Her warm, encouraging approach makes her a favorite collaborator for anyone curious about learning to repair, build, or tinker.
