We’ll work on real cars, in real time, so you can drive away with actual confidence—not just car talk.

Hands-On Vehicle Checks
No more mystery fluids or cryptic dashboard lights. You’ll learn to safely inspect oil, coolant, tires, and batteries, plus get familiar with the sights, sounds, and smells that mean “fix me now” vs. “you’ve got time.”
Talk and Walk Like a Mechanic
Get the inside scoop on reading estimates, asking the right questions, and spotting unnecessary upsells when you go to a garage or service dealer. By the end, you’ll have the vocabulary and know-how to have real conversations in the repair shop.
Roadside & Accident Confidence
From flat tires to fender benders, you’ll walk through exactly what to do, what to document, and how to keep yourself safe and calm while waiting for help.

Known for his approachable, no-nonsense teaching style, Dan makes complex automotive tasks feel doable—even for complete beginners. Whether guiding you through a tire inspection or helping you understand a repair estimate, he’s here to make sure you save time, money, and stress on your car’s care.

What should I wear?
Closed-toed shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
What should I bring?
Feel free to bring a tire gauge, and make sure your owner’s manual is in your car if you drive it to the workshop.
What about food?
This session would be great for teens learning to drive—and of course adults! Everyone must have their own ticket!
Can kids attend?
No potluck. Bring a water bottle and snacks, if needed.
Other notes?
We’ll learn how to diagnose and discuss these topics, but no full fluid changes or tire swaps will be performed.
