Potluck & Community

Nothing says community like a potluck. Breaking bread while building bridges, so to speak. This workshop will include a potluck, a chance to talk about what you are learning, share experiences, and get to know one another. We’ll supply the main protein. Please bring something along to share with your neighbors!
Workshop Leader
Barbara Mardis
Barbara Mardis has worn a lot of hats in the business world, Program Planning and Control Analyst for an aerospace company, Office Manager for a public library, Payroll for a major golf resort, Office Manager for an elementary school that included deaf students and interpreters in every classroom.
But her not-so-secret passion is the garden, inspired by her grandmother’s garden, and the walk-in pantry with shelves full of canned goods that looked like gleaming jewels. Barbara canned for years, and then discovered fermentation, which she has leaned into heavily ever since.
