Pre-registration
When you pre-register for a workshop, you guarantee yourself a ticket. Pre-registration is free. We take your credit card but don't charge you until you accept the date. We set the date after we meet the goal for the workshop. When we hit the goal, we send you a set of options in a Doodle poll. You pick the options that work for you, and we choose the option that works for the most people. If you can make it, we ticket and charge you. If you can't make it, no charge.
Scheduling
We schedule workshops after we meet the pre-registration goal. We'll send you a Doodle poll with options. You have week to respond. After a week, if we have enough people select an option, we schedule and let you know. You have three days to pick that option if it wasn't among your original choices. After three days, everyone who chose the option on the poll gets a ticket. If you don't choose the option in the Doodle poll, your pre-registration is cancelled. If we don't get enough votes for a common option, we wait till a few more people to sign up and try again.
Pricing
If you pre-register, you get a significant discount, up to 30% off the registration price. After enough people pre-register, we set a date. If you accept the date, you are ticketed at the discounted price. Because we schedule the workshop based on your pre-registration, the cancellation policy for pre-registration is less lenient than for a registration. You get a credit if you cancel, but not a refund.
Cancellation and Refunds
We want you to be happy and we understand that life happens. Still, we a small non-profit and need to be wise with our limited funds.
- If you pre-register, you can cancel at any time after ticketing and get a credit for the full cost. Because we scheduled the workshop based on your pre-registration, no cash refunds.
- If you register, you get your money back if you cancel up to a week before the workshop. After that, you get a credit.
In all cases, if you cancel a workshop that has a capped attendance within three days of the workshop, and we're sold out, we'll slot you into a future session of the workshop at no charge so long as it is not sold out. We'll get you in eventually!
